Our children have fun "being a saint" and celebrating All Saints’ Day together!
Every year we celebrate All Saints’ Day as a group. While it is up to the organizing member how the celebration will be structured, we usually attend a morning mass and have an informal potluck get-together after mass. The students are encouraged to dress as one of their favorite saints when attending mass and the potluck. Every student present, whether dressed up or not has an opportunity to say a few words about one of their favorite saints. This is done very informally with the intention of not putting any pressure on the students that might detract from the celebration. After snacking and talking about their saints, there are usually a few saint-related games or a craft for the children to enjoy together.
